Symmetrical Snowflakes

Using white paper, pencils, sharpies, and tissue paper, 3rd grade students created their own symmetrical snowflakes!
Students connected to Math and were able to identify and describe the word: Symmetrical.
Students learned a new painting technique using the colored tissue paper.  They were very excited!
