Snowy Penguins!

1st grade students created their own snowy penguins!  Now that their is snow on the ground, the students showed much excitement while creating these awesome penguins.  We discussed the meaning of a collage and students were able to describe the reasons why their artwork was considered a collage.  Students used watercolors, construction paper, tempera paint, yarn, and glue to create their art and I am so thrilled that each penguin is unique in a different way.
