Overlapping Pumpkins
2nd and 3rd grade students created overlapping pumpkin paintings and they look fantastic!
Students used white oil pastels for the highlights of the pumpkins to create a more 3D and realistic look. They used watercolors to color-mix their pumpkins with red, orange, and yellow. These painting techniques help create a "real" looking pumpkins!
This is a great project during the fall season and enables students to gain more knowledge of color-mixing from the year before.
